Deli Fresh Gently Cooked Adult Dog Food, Chicken, Vegetable & Rice, 3.5-Pound Tubes (Pack of 4)

My dog Henry has IBD and has been on a presecription diet (Hill's Z/D) for years. The prescription food is hydolyzed, meaning that the protein particles are spun into tiny bits that are too small to cause allergic reactions. Apparently too small to have much taste, too! My dog doesn't have any allergic reactions on that food, but he hates it, and I'm a real Jewish mother coaxing him to eat by mixing in bits of more tempting foods (that I know that he's not allergic to) in with the script food. A couple of months ago, I discovered the Deli Fresh, and that is something that he eats reliably and with enthusiasm. As others have mentioned, you see the chunks of fresh veggies mixed in with the meat, and I feel like I'm doing something that not only pleases my dog but is good for him, too.

This is a great product. My dog loves it. The first 2 times I ordered the product arrived promptly, however I never received this last order so I finally cancelled after 2 weeks. It was a hassle, so now I just go to Pet Supplies Plus.

My vet recommended this food for a dog with strange digestive problems. He's done extremely well on it. It's very easy to feed. The only problem is that it is extremely expensive to feed to a large dog. If it wasn't so pricey it would have five stars.

Our two dogs love this food ... it is quite fresh and you can see the fresh vegetables in it. A little bit goes a very long way. Each dog (a Greyhound and a Doberman) get about one quarter cup diced up with their kibble. They gobble it down.
