Diedrich French Roast, Dark K-Cups for Keurig Brewers (Pack of 50) [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging]

With so much variety, it's difficult to settle on a "favorite." Example: While I like a robust flavor, Newman's Own Extra Bold, similar to Starbuck's which I DO NOT like, is way over the edge for my taste. After much sampling, Diedrich's gives me a perfect "wake up blend" without taking my head off. And, if you drink a lot of coffee, K-Cups are rather spendy. Buying the Diedrich 50 pack on a subscription basis with NO ship charges gets the price down to .36 a cup. I've found NO BETTER pricing anywhere. Plus, prior to your scheduled shipment each month, every 2 months, 3 months, etc., you receive an email notice of shipment at which time you can skip a shipment, decrease or increase a shipment, cancel, etc. And, of course, using Amazon.com is the only way. Great coffee, great program, great price. What else is there?

I try all types and have found some brands a bit better than others. This French roast is a nice middle of the road flavor, not as sweet as a donut shop, but enough that I can use all cup settings and still have a nice flavorful cup of coffee. The best thing I like is the 50 cup box. It is one easy box which they ship in to minimalize packing waste. I even peel off the tops, wash out the cups and recycle the plastic. Takes less than 30 secs to do. This is a good comprimize to have a great fresh cup of coffee. If you are looking for a coffee everyone will love then this will fit the bill.

I wake up every morning to a robust cup of this great coffee. Every cup is the same flavor and strength.

I tried drinking this coffee for a few weeks. Not only is it bitter, but it also caused me to get nasty heartburn. I have about 40 k-cups left in the box. The only use I have for them is that my 2 year old son likes stacking them up like blocks. At least they are being put to some use. I would pass on this one.

My wife is picky about coffee. She didn't like many of the sample coffees that we got with the Keurig when we bought it at Costco. She absolutely loves this coffee. The price was great as well.
