Never have to iron again...Priceless
I've been using it for months now and our clothes never looked better. I had the technique down by the fourth garment (mostly). It's easy to assemble and use. I have not burned myself but if you get careless you could. Don't use it with children around. It doesn't work well on heavy fabrics like denim but hey, no one is perfect. We are really happy with it.

good stuff
It can take wrinkles out of almost anything. It's especially useful for things like curtains and bedsheets that would be a MAJOR pain to iron. I use it mainly for my dress shirts. I really would like to use it on my dress pants as well, and sometimes I do, but in my experience, it tends to slightly soften the creases, so I'm very careful how I use it on my dress pants. If I had a pant press to go along with this, it would be the perfect combination.

Buy an iron
This is great for sensitive clothes. If you can use an iron...do it. It will save you a lot of money and works a lot better.

Great Met All My Needs
This product is amazing I would recommend it to anyone who wants an affordable hassle free means of steaming and or ironing there clothes; this beats labouring over an ironing board any day. I must also say that before purchasing the J-2000 I extensively read the reviews of those who purchase it on amazon before me. Most had sterling reviews which was a plus as well as those who may have purchased another brand that cost much less were sorely dissapointed in their buy.

Assembly was straight foward and easy not much needed. Directions for use easy as well fill the tank plug it in flip it on and in a few minuted you have steam. Now the fun part for me is how quick and easy it is to steam my shirts. It's basically two passes over with the steamer for the front and back each and thats its...wrinkles gone, smooth clean steamed clothes wthout any scorch marks. The pants were a little tricker for me until I came upon the idea of steaming the pants upside down, [hanging from the cuffs instead of the waist] and it was even quicker to steam than the shirt.

I guess my only drawback with the steamer is not the steamer itself but the fact that to really steam my pants so that the pleats show i would need to pony up another $100 for some sort of hanging steaming board.
Other than that I give the J-2000 5 stars and if you buy it you wont be dissapointed.

Works great!
This product works great. Now let me explain my situation. My wife's and my idea of ironing something is throwing it the dryer, warming it up , and shaking the wrinkles out. We HATE ironing. Some say this doesn't replace an iron, but if one never existed (like in my case), it's all you need. It's ready to use in a few minutes and works very quickly. I would recommend buying the board you can get as an option as it would make it easier to use. I am going to purchase it soon. My wife wears scrubs everyday and I wear slacks and polos, we are now wrinkle free thanks to this product. It takes less than two minutes to steam my slacks. I would highly recommend it!!!
