Juki 2-Needle, 2/3/4/5-Thread Overlock Machine MO-655

Purchased this serger after checking out reviews on the Web. Juki seemed to have a good reputation for reliability. It came threaded with the threads cut off & wrapped around the presser foot knob. A lot of people tie on another thread and do not thread the machine.I was determined to learn how to thread it and removed the cut off threads & threaded it with new thread. It was not as hard as I thought it would be but you will need tweeser's and the supplied thread hook. I tested the machine and it sewed perfectly. The machine was quieter than I expected and seems to be well built. I was impressed with the fit and finish of the parts as well as the cast aluminum frame. When operating there is very little vibration.Looks like a keeper, time will tell.

I wouldn't recommend buying from this retailer. I had purchased this item and needed to return it right away. However,unlike their guarantee, it was harder to return than expected. I called to get the return authorization they needed and they wouldn't give it to me, but rather "authorized" it by word over the phone. The employer on the line with me was short with me and very rude. I ended up getting some of my money back, but would never buy from them again.

The service I received from this seller was wonderful. I haven't tried the machine yet, but I do have plenty of family members who are nagging me to get it out so they can use it. I bought this paticular model because my daughter has one and I love the way the stitches look. I have had other sergers that were nothing but trouble. Thank you for the quick service.
