R.H. Forschner by Victorinox 8-Inch Chef's Knife, Black Fibrox Handle

This knife is a great value. Recomended by America's Test Kitchen and they know what they are talking about. It is sharp and balanced. Easy to clean. My favorite to use.

Opening the package I was skeptical. It looked so plain with its stamped steel blade and molded handle. After using it once I could see why the ratings were so high. The blade is very sharp. The curve of the blade makes for a natural rocking motion for mincing. The fibrox handle always gives a sure grip even with slippery hands. My only problem with this knife was the fact that it was a bit too wide to fit in my knife block. No problem, it's worth going to the drawer for this knife.

handle is not as comfortable as my wustoff,but for the money, this is a really sharp knife.it is used very frequently!

Was expecting this product at least a week after the shipping date. Somehow, never received it after more than three weeks later. Don't know who the seller is but its very very bad customer service. Never received any notice, call, email, etc. on how/why the product never came\^^/

I don't always believe the ratings of products. In this case, they were right on. America's Test Kitchen said this is the best value.
