Salter 914 Electronic Baby and Toddler Scale

My wife and I were looking for a good baby scale since our 1st kid had a problem with weight gain. She was hesitant on getting this scale and wanted a $1,000 doctor's office type baby scale.

I'm glad I saw the great reviews that this scale is getting. After buying this scale, we compared its measurements to what the pediatrician's office scale measured. The difference was usually around 1-2 ounces. So we're very happy with it.

On a side note, the baby tray easily removes by using a coin to turn the plastic screw. When the tray is removed, there's an odd Mickey Mouse look-alike face for toddlers to see when they step on the scale themselves.

My wife was breast feeding and we were not able to tell how much our son was drinking (first child). At his first doctor visit we found out that he had lost few ounces - not a matter of concern according to the doctor, but we were concerned. After much research and reviews, we end up ordering this scale since it had good reviews and was cost effective. We were very pleased to have it, we used it to weigh our baby after each feed for few days to see how much he is drinking and changing his feeding time accordingly. It was a relief to see baby gaining few ounces after each feed. Now we weigh our baby (2 months old) every week or two. I would highly recommend this product

I bought this to weigh new Clumber Spaniel Puppies! It is a terrific scale, worth the moderate price! It weighs in half ounce increments and is easy to read, easy to operate, generous tray for larger breed puppies.

I purchased this scale to weigh my cats. One of them has been in chronic renal failure for 7 years and it's important to monitor her weight before and after administering sub-cutaneous fluids. The scale worked perfectly, even though both cats didn't want to stand still. The scale displayed the exact same number when I weighed the same cat twice. It was a great price for a brand name scale.
