Verilux Original Natural Spectrum Deluxe Floor Lamp, Burl

I did a research on reading lamps-- i was tempted to buy fancy ones ( tiffany floor lamps) but i was looking at quality of light that benefit your eyes in the long run. I read a lot at night so I'm looking at proper lamp for reading-- This product, I highly recommend.

We bought this light about one year ago to put in our Fifth Wheel behind our chair. It works very well. It gives off plenty of light for reading or a little light when watching TV without turning on all the lights. The lamp gives off a pleasing light with no shadows. The lamp is lightweight, so we can move it around when we close our slides. It seems to be very durable too. We ordered one tray and need to order another one. The tray is handy for holding your remote controls, glasses, etc. We are satisfied with our purchase.

I owned a Verilux floor lamp. After two years it stopped working. The Verilux desk lamp of the same style just stopped two weeks ago after about two years. I will not buy another of this brand.

The lamp works great, I've had no problems in nearly a year. It is not heavy to move, as I do transport it from room to room, depending on where I'm going to do the needlework that benefits from this wonderful light. For reading, it's terrific, too, but I really use it for delicate counted cross stitch projects which may incorporate as many as a hundred different colored threads, many of which are nearly impossible to distinguish from one another in any other light. Between this and a magnifying glass which hangs from my neck, I'm all set and this even has the extra bonus of the little tray which holds eyeglasses, little scissors and a beverage. I'd buy it again!

Easy to install. Good workmanship. The difference between Hi and low intensity is not great but there is enough light for reading.
