Bottom of the barrel
For the same price one can get a "Professional" series Weller iron (like this one) with constant tip temperature, or a less known brand temperature-controlled station (like this one) that will be much nicer to work with.

PROS:
Weller quality and durability.

CONS:
Price is too high for a simple iron without temperature control, the "power control" knob works like a simple light dimmer - with no feedback from the tip, so the temperature will be jumping up and down while you work.

Amazing Iron - Same As What My College Uses...
I major in Computer Engineering Technology and I have got to say that this is the best soldering iron that I have ever used. It is well worth its price. These soldering irons are perfect for my electronics work. They are so perfect that every single soldering iron at my college is this same brand and model. Trust me when I say that this is well worth the purchase.

It works!
So far this is the perfect soldering iron for me. It's variable so I can turn up the heat when I'm working with thick wires and turn it down when I'm working with delicate electronics. I expect that as long as I take care of it, it will last me a long time. What else is there to say? It's a soldering iron/station and it works!

Excellent Iron
This is admittedly a low-end soldering iron, but for a beginner or someone who doesn't need a state-of-the-art soldering station, this is a great piece of hardware. The tip is a little large for smaller tasks, but this is easily and cheaply remedied with a new narrow tip. The station is sturdy and well-made.

Should bought this the first time
It shipped very quickly and worked better than the cheap one I purchased at a local electronic store
