iRobot R3 500 series replacement brush kit (inc. Bristle brush,beater brush, side brush with screw and brush cleaning tool)

The parts I got were fine except for the side brush. I gave the two star rating because I think a product's photo should match the items received. The photo shows a 6-sided brush, and I actually received a 3-sided brush. I don't know if that will have an impact on my roomba's cleaning performance, but since it originally came with a 6-sided brush I felt I should replace it with the same part- which is what I thought I was getting from Amazon.

My wife and I have 400 series and 500 series Roomba's which we love. They work great and have been very reliable for years and I believe that is partially due to keeping them clean. After every use my wife takes them apart and blows out all the parts with an air hose. We bought these kits so that she can just put clean replacement parts back in and wash the dirty parts later. This may seem like overkill but it works for us.

I'm almost surprised that Amazon is even seeking ratings for this product; you know what to expect before you order it. Everything is iRobot standard. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is that the spinning corner brushes don't seem to last very long.d

I've had my Roomba for about a year now. I have a dog and a cat, so you can imagine how much fur I have to deal with on my carpet. Anyhow, Louise (that's my Roomba's name) stopped picking up hair like she used to. Now I may be dumb, but I thought something else was wrong with her - that she might be broken or something. But I bought her new brushes anyway - and she works fantastic! She's back to her old self again and does all the dirty work for me. So if you think anything is wrong with your Roomba - try new brushes first!

I've owned and used a Roomba for about a year and, except for the side brush assembly (not just the brush) that had to be completely replaced by Roomba because it failed, nothing else had to be replaced yet.

Of the items included in the bundle you MIGHT need an extra filter and one or maybe 2 side brushes over the life of a Roomba. You will NEVER need an extra cleaning tool and you are very unlikely to ever want to replace the bristle brush or the beater brush because they are THAT good.

By looking at this bundle, I see it as one side brush short, one or 2 filters too many and a bunch of other accessories you will never need. I am granting 3 stars because each item in itself is well made.
