Door Mounting Kit For RV Series, White

As a pretty avid DIY guy, I'm used to directions only being kind of a "guideline" in home repair. The directions are always missing steps or mislabeling parts, etc...

The directions included with this kit are some of the better ones.

With this kit's "easy" install method, it took me about 10 minutes to get the whole thing together, even without any clear direction on how to use the spacers that are included [which I needed]. I don't actually understand at all why the "not easy" installation instructions are included, as they seem like they'd be a huge pain.

So use the tape method to install this thing and you're golden. It's a great way to make a small kitchen more functional and definitely adds a custom touch to the product.

Purchased an RV Series trash can from Home Depot and then purchased the door mounting kit separately. Hardware that came with door mounting kit did not work with the RV Series trash can...had to Gorilla Glue the door mount to the sliding track...a hassle, but it worked out in the end and I really like the ease of the sliding trash can.

The bracket fit perfectly onto the existing trash basket and the door. The brackets are of excellent quality and I plan to tell others about the brackets.
