Staub 9 Inch Frying Pan, Black

First order of business. People who complain of the weight of Staub cookware should not be allowed in the kitchen. Cast Iron has to be thick to distribute heat evenly, otherwise a thin bottom pan will cause scorching and burning. It's a shame Americans have to be told that. (I'm American) Staub is the finest cookware made in the world. These pans are truly something to cherish. They stand against a world of trash products that are designed to be thrown away and repurchased just to be thrown away again. Not Staub. Buy it. Use it. And you will love it! You'll finally understand why throw-away products should be illegal.

The diameter of the pan is 9.5 inch. So it is slightly bigger than I expected. The second thing that I do not like about this pan is its handle is too long. The wooden handle part is too far way from the pan, which makes it heavier if you want to lift it because the length of the lever arm is too long. Other than those two problems, I am happy with the pan. It is well made, heavy, very nice wooden handle and offers a healthy way to cook.

our family cares about healthy, and my wife loves to cook, she really loves this pan, it is good for cooking.
I rated 4 stars for it. do not wait just got it you will not regret. but only thing bothers me was it is too heavy.
anyway it is A great deal you should not miss.

I make a point of avoiding things French. OK, I am glad I have this. I use it. It works great. Light for cast iron, even heat, cook at lower temps. Of course, I don't know how it works with meat but it is great for frying veggies!
