I live in Southern Illinois,within one hour of my home I can travel to approx 25 wineries. So the wife and I get in the convertable during the nice weather and go visit a winery. Some have entertainment, some don't.
But we purchase of bottle of their wine have our lunch and relax.

With this bag we take cheeses, crackers, meats, spreads,fruits, another bottle of wine and we enjoy our selves. This bag is perfect for two people with all the necessary accoutramonts. Throw an ice black in the insulated, waterproof pouch and you are all set.
The only thing that does not come with this bag is a salt & pepper shaker, but that is cheap & easy to rectify.

This is definitely not your traditional wicker basket, but that's not a bad thing at all. We had such a basket once (it was a great gift), but it was damaged in our flooded basement, which necessitated a replacement. This one seemed appealing because of the durable material, compartments for: flatware, plates and wine glasses (included--all plastic); wine; and one for large items that has some insulating quality. Each compartment is nicely zippered and the wine compartment even has a velcro snap allowing the bottle neck to stick out. My wife and I have used it on a couple of occasions and it's worked out beautifully. Combine it with this waterproof and playfully-designed JJ Cole Collections All-Purpose Blanket, Gray/Red that folds neatly and keeps the sand out of your sandwiches. Don't forget to pack some double cream brie so that you can use the included compact cheese board with knife. Happy picnicking.

I purchased this as an engagement gift for my daughter and her fiance. I asked her for her thoughts on it and this was her reply: "I like the organization of the product. The separate compartments for the wine/water bottles is great because the condensation of a chilled bottle doesn't moisten the other foods for the picnic. I also like that the inside is removable for easy clean up. It's not too heavy to carry around for the day either, which is nice." In addition, I liked the product because it featured a wooden cheese board and a corkscrew...plus lots of compartments for things. It is not a romantic basket with gingham and lace nor is it good for transporting large casseroles or bowls, but it is a practical satchel that works well for small picnics and for sporting events. And it's not something a guy will feel embarrassed to carry.

My niece said it was exactly what she needed for going on picnics and contributing to outdoor family affairs.

We bought this picnic kit as a gift for our parents. It turned out exactly like we hoped, and our parents loved it. The only complaint I have is that the plates that came in the bag were not the ones shown in the picture. They were the plates with the grapes, which we liked less than the ones pictured. Otherwise, the bag was a wonderful gift for people who enjoy picnicking and attending outdoor activities at wineries.
