Join the Band

Join the Band is a real delight for all Little Feat Fans. Great artist singing and jammin with Little Feat on some of there best.

Dave Mathews Band - fat man in the bathtub
Emmy lou Harris - faster paced Sailin shoes
Innara George - signing troubles
Also Vince Gill, jimmy Buffutt, Bob Seager. It's a must to have.

Some good tracks with Dave Matthews and other friends. Fat Man and Spanish Moon are great listens. But many other tracks sound rushed and feature "used to be" talents like Bob Seger, Emmy Lou Harris, and Jimmy Buffett. Certainly a good CD for any Little Feat fan but it certainly should not be listed among the band's better releases.

The new disc of old classic Feat tunes helped me remeber why I fell in love with the band in the first place. With musicians such as Inara George, Brooks and Dunn, Jimmy Buffet and Bela Fleck adding their musical talents to the mix, the disc was consistently tasty from the first track to the last.I would tell any audiophile to put this disc on their "must play" list, and I would love to see some or all of the contributers on tour with the band at a location near me soon.

All in all a good CD. The addition of all of the special guest musicians on some of the old songs really gave it a nice flair. The newer music was good as well. Would recommend to any Little Feat Fan.

I have not stopped listening to this CD since I got it. I had a hard time at first not hearing the voices of Little Feat but got over my tunnel vision. I bought several CD's to give to Feat fans for Christmas, but loved the music so much had to share the happiness right away.
