Learning Basic Skills Through Music Vol. 1

My mom was a PE teacher with a focus in early child hood sooo, my sister and I grew up with Hap Palmer. Now it is so much fun to see my little girl beg to here the Elephant and see her starting to do the trunk movement. I will definately be looking for Hap's singing multiplication tables for DD when it comes time.

I purchased this product for my Kindergarten Students. This CD was originally made in 1969. You can certainly tell that this compilation is over 30 years old; many of the songs are dull and would be unappealing to today's youngsters. Still, there are a couple of really catchy action songs that are great fun. One involves colours and listening skills and the other involves actions. I am so glad I bought it. My students love the "Colour" song and so do I.

I used this with my own children,and when I was a school teacher, and now I'm buying it for grandchildren. The songs are lively, cheerful, and easy to follow. They create a happy learning atmosphere, and the kids have a lot of fun with it,too.It's also wonderful in the car. I consider it a classic, and a wonderful addition to the development of any child.

Good CD for the young to sing and do the actions. I used this often in early kindergarten classes.
