to put it simply. This is the first of their's I have bought so I was pleasantly surprised it was so good.
The first few songs have a lot of energy and the later songs are very toned down and peaceful, dreamy and in a way very emotional without trying to be.

Its like the best parts of Coldplay and Radiohead in one and better.

Sigur ros is such a great band, and with the new album, they deliver, in a big way.

rock, pop, chill out music, everything is in here.

Simply awesome, more happy songs than a normal Sigur Ros album but still just as mesmorizing.

I cannot get enough of Sigur Ros. Every single album since their sophomore effort has been a moody, masterpiece of soundscapes and this one keeps that string going.

Ok , i am not from ICELAND nor do i understand icelandic language. But music is a universal language. This record firmly keeps 'music' a common food for our soul.

Brilliant ?. YES !. This album takes your mind and heart to places you can only dream about. I love the piano played all through out the album. The catchy riffs , the landscape vibe , the super rich vocals, just everything about this record is superb.

I wish i owned a LP player , they say a record sounds warmer in an LP. If you do have an LP , buy the LP of this record. This music is for the rain. Play it when a rainy afternoon or a chilly evening. You will be warmed up, for certain.
