Reeve and Jones Doorway Puppet Theater

LOVE this Reeve and Jones Doorway Puppet Theater! It's well designed, easy to set up, lots of style and fun! We bought it for our daughter's 4th birthday party along with some Melissa and Doug Puppets and did a "home spun" puppet show for the party. The kids rushed the stage afterwards to play. It's all in the details: adjustable rod fits most doorways, black sheer blackdrop, drop down stage, pockets for puppets on the back, regal purple color, velvet curtain with velcro tiebacks, bag for storage! No problem at all with working the rod, but it does leave marks on the wall. I think we are going to permenantly hang it from the ceiling in a corner of my daughter's room anyhow. Enjoy! Really great quality, worth every cent!

We were very impressed with the quality of the puppet theater. It was fairly costly but well worth it. The grandkids, ages 6 and 3, loved it. I know they will spend many hours of enjoyment and imagination play.

Not a bad toy once we figured out how to get it to not fall down but then I found that the bar that is used to hold this up left a nasty mark in my door way. Tried to clean off but no luck. Other than that my 3 & 6yr old boys just loved it and played with it all xmas morning.

This is a great adjunct to your child's education and especially good for small homes or apartments. It sets up and packs down in a few minutes and packs away in its own drawstring bag. It allows kids to use a "professional" type of puppet theatre for their puppet shows and yet takes no room to store and sets up quickly. It's well-made (although it probably won't withstand the beating that some kids will give it--but what would?) and sturdy and if it falls on your child accidentally, there's no weight at all in it, so it won't hurt them.

Highly recommended, for adults too, but you'll need to extend the height a bit for grown-ups! (This would be simple to do by sewing a piece of black fabric of the required length to the bottom, but is by no means necessary)

All in all, a GREAT product! I've already recommended three to my friends who've all bought one and are just as happy with theirs!

Great item for puppet-loving parents and their captive audience of kids. Fine craftmanship, attention to detail (a black see-through net to hide puppeteer, pockets for puppets, mini-stage). Doorway theater much easier to store than puppet stage.
