Excellent
I've used Nalgene bottles in the past for hiking, but I don't hike much anymore. I needed a bottle to take water to work and some colleagues have been using Klean Kanteen for a while. They liked theirs, so I thought I'd give them a try.

At first I was looking at the brushed stainless, but it always gives me a chill -- as if I were biting down on aluminum foil. So I went with the painted ones instead. I got a black 27oz and like it. I sometimes wonder if I should have gotten the 40oz, but one of the guys has one and it might be a bit large for my application. Still not positive, so I might be getting one of those too.

It's not a thermos, so it doesn't keep it cold all day. But, it keeps it cool enough that I can drink throughout the day, so I'm happy.

Someone mentioned a metallic taste. I can't say that I've noticed any, but it sometimes does smell slightly different -- but that could just be my bad breath too!

I got the loop lid and am very happy with that. I can easily carry my laptop case and kanteen in the same hand. And just to think about all those plastic bottles that I'm keeping out of the landfill....

Great Value for money
A good eco-friendly option that is not too expensive. I prefer the 18 oz size, they fit perfectly in our Honda Odyssey and our Honda Civic and easier to handle when filled with water. I got one of the 27 oz bottles and they keep falling out of the cup holders near the driver seat in the van. They probably would work better in the third row seat. Overall, a good buy and I would suggest the 18 oz as the best size. I got the green moss, orange and the blue. Loved all the three colors.

Just what I wanted it to be.
I read a number of reviews regarding this bottle and those manufactured by Sigg. It seems that each has its share of die-hard fans. I ultimately decided to go with this bottle primarily due to the mystery surrounding the interior coating of the Sigg.

I have not experienced the two drawbacks that seemed to be the most frequently mentioned about this bottle: metal taste and leakage at the cap. I fill and drink from this bottle several times a day and my water tastes as clean as I would expect it to. No metal taste. I also have not seen any leakage from the cap.

I chose to switch to using the sport cap because it attaches to the bottle, and I can unscrew it to drink at a faster rate if I want but still have the benefit of the sports cap.

A Great Water Bottle
After reading about the Klean Kanteen and hearing others recommend it, I decided this would be a great purchase. I chose the 27 oz. because it seemed like a big enough, but not too big size. I love how lightweight this bottle is and how easy it is to clean. It also helps me keep track of my daily water intake. Since my purchase, I have also purchased bottles for my children in the 12 oz. size, colors pink and blue. I'm sure they will be just as great for them as they are for me. Super earth-friendly product.

Great
Big bottle, no BPA or harmful agents. The top is the only thing that is left lacking. Buy the sport top and save yourself the noisy opening and closing of the bottle.
