Brilliant game
I could simply say I agree with the other 5 star reviews of the game, but that would be rather lame, as would be repeating the comments made by others. I've been playing this game for almost a year. I am a Dungeons & Dragons casual player, and I've always enjoyed fantasy games and the like. However, most of my friends aren't and haven't. Yet, most of them enjoy playing Munchkin simply because it's fun! The comedy in the cards can be understood in several levels, whether you have played Pen & Paper RPGs or not, and the apporach towards the imagination elements of the game depend on each player, and won't really influence gameplay.
Now, why review this bundle instead of every expansion individually? Well, first of all, if you do the math, you'll end up saving a few bucks by purchasing all six expansions in this bundle (or the basic game and its five expansions, or whatever) instead of buying one by one. Besides, I believe that, in most cases, you'll end up liking the game so much, that you will want to have all the expansions eventually, so save yourself a few trips to the store and a few dollars, and get it over with!
Second of all, the more cards you include to the game, the more fun you'll have, because the options are broader and the game becomes a bit more random, meaning that, regardless of how bad or good you are at coming up with a good strategy, the shuffling of the cards can play a great role in the development of the game, which gives the game great replay value.
Third, as it has been said in other reviews, this game is much more fun when you play with lots of friends (I've had the chance to play with 10 people at a time, and it's real mayhem!). Therefore, the combination of all the expansions makes it possible to play with a lot of people and keep the aforementioned "element of surprise".
Last, but not least, having different expansions allows you to put together different decks for different types of play. For instance, if you want to play a quick game for 2 players, you could leave out the dungeons (expansion 6), or take out curse cards, etc. You can explore possibilities and come up with different ideas for different types of gameplay, and having all the cards grants greater felxibility.
Risking to be repetitive, I'll just say that this is really a brilliant game for people with different tastes for games, and it has lots of elements that make it adaptable, hence suitable for many different players. Do not stick to the rules! Make the best out of the social element of the game: negotiate, befriend, betray, manipulate!! The cards are just one part of the whole experience that makes this a great game.
P.S. You might want to look into buying a Card Shuffler with this bundle. After all, it is a LOT of cards!

Fun card game, something different.
This game is not for everyone, but if you have an active imagination and you like the fantasy genre then you'll like Munchkin. When you add 4 or more players to this fantasy based card game the fun begins, and the fun increases as you add more players. The comedic references on the cards can sometimes leave you chuckling, referencing things from movies and online comics twisted to add comedy to this game.
I've read reviews that stated the game was only fun for a short time, the comedy was short lived or the game wasn't fun at all (followed by a completely boiled down, dry list of how the game works) and all I can say is if you enjoy fantasy worlds, like your friends, like card games, and you have an imagination then you'll enjoy this game. But be prepared to get creative in game play, because if you don't play the game in the true spirit, you won't have as much fun.
So don't hesitate to throw down some monster modifier cards then offer to help kill the monster for half the loot. Don't hesitate to offer to buy pizza if everyone will leave the helpless player at the mercy of the monster. Absolutely backstab your partner if you're a thief and they used "Kneepads of Allure" on you. It's all fun and completely in the spirit of the game.
