Nice Little Laptop
This laptop was almost what I was looking for. My two and a half year old sits and plays with it and actually gets some of the answers correct...I'm amazed! I was hoping the keyboard was like a normal laptop because I'd rather her know where the typing keys are as opposed to A-Z. I also wish there was a function on the laptop to just let her type letters...but so far I haven't found such a feature. I bought this laptop with the hopes that she wouldn't want to use mine...and so far so good. I recommend this laptop for parents who want to teach their kids letters, spelling and how to use a mouse. For the price..it's great!

My son loved it "to death"
My autistic son got this last year for his 4th birthday. He loved it, and played with it for countless hours. He would take it everywhere with him. His sister had a Barbie computer, and he was still a bit attracted to that one over his own, because of the backlight factor (it would have been so nice if this toy had backlighting), but really, the games and activities on this one were more appropriate for him, because of his age. His favorite thing was to imitate the monkey or play music. However, after about 6-7 months, the sound no longer works. My son was rough on it, it has been dropped or pushed off the table or down the stairs countless times, and while it has been durable in some respects, the sound broke because of repeated opening and closing of the lid, and the wires inside must have come loose... at first, it would only make sounds when it was open at less than a 45 degree angle, but now it's completely silent. He still tries to play with it, but gives up easily because of there being no sound. I wish this toy could have lasted him longer. He literally loved it to death.

Great Choice
I gave this computer to my 4 year old grandson for his birthday. My daughter left it for last for him to open at his party, because she said he would not want anything else once he saw that. She was right. The Tote 'N Go Laptop became the most desired toy at the party.
His 3 yr old sister, and cousin, jumped right too. It did not take them very long to figure out how to use it, and in no time they were "teaching" each other how it worked. My daughter was relieved, because she could get back to using her own computer, instead of having to give it over to my grandson to play his games. The graphics are very simple, and no colors,
but that didn't seem to make a difference to the kids. It is very sturdy as well. It gets carried around and knocked around a great deal, but keeps working. The kids love the attachable mouse, and found out how to work it immediately. It helps them with their small motor skills, and hand-to-eye coordination. The price was good, and I bought another one for my 3 year old niece for her birthday a month later. A very good choice for small kids in today's world.

Great beginner learning toy!
My husband and I bought this toy for our 3 yr. old daughter last Christmas given the fact that she was becoming more and more interested in trying to play games on our own computer. We didn't think she would catch on as quickly as she did but she is a whiz at most of the games on it. My husband and I had no clue how to show her what to do so she has been on her own from the beginning!

Its so funny and enjoyable to see her learning her abcs and advancing to highter levels but my only complaint is that the volume can't be turned off. Even at its lowest setting, it is still pretty loud but overall I can't complain. Its a great buy and she is still playing it today!(The battery life on it is amazing too! She plays with it quite often and we've yet to change the batteries)

Fantastic for 3+
My son got this laptop for his 3rd birthday. It was fun for him to push buttons and click the mouse just like mom and dad, however he didn't know how to really use it. He is now almost 3 1/2 and the light just clicked one day. He started matching shapes and then started matching the letters and numbers. In two weeks he has learned almost all of the alphabet. I love that it helps kids recognize upper and lower case letters. He now wants a bit more of a challange and plays the game where you type the letters before the monkey can pop them. He has fun playing on his computer and I love knowing that he is learning at the same time.
