Actron CP9125 PocketScan Diagnostic Code Reader for OBDII (Post-1996) Vehicles

Worked very well on a 04 Jeep liberty and a 97 Honda Civic, eliminating the fault codes. Paid for itself twice over.

Hooked it up, had it working without reading manual. Nice little product. Used it on a 2002 Volvo S40.

I have a 2000 Subaru Outback that throws a CEL every so often. I've taken it to the shop and they told me it was the catalytic converter going bad. I need to replace the whole exhaust system eventually, but for now I bought the Actron CP9125 so I can check it out for myself and reset the code till I can put some money into it. Well, a week ago, the CEL came on and sure enough it was the Cat. I was able to reset it in a few seconds and all is fine again :) It basically paid for itself right then. The device is easy to use. I would have liked separate buttons, instead of the multifunction buttons, but I'm sure that's what makes it a "Pocket" scanner. Great product.

The scanner does what it is supposed to. It easily reads the trouble codes, check engine light status, and emissions systems status. Resetting the codes was simple.

I just bought it for eliminating the check engine light as mention in the product description. Looks like failed, it just give me nothing else but a strange code not appearing in the manual.
