Belkin 17-Inch Messenger Bag (Jet/Cabernet)

I am really happy I chose this bag. It's sport and at the same time elegant for informal occasions. The size is perfect for my 16.4" Sony Vaio. I am a teacher at the local University and this bag fits perfectly with my activities there, and my regular job at the marine and oil industry.
I would recommend this item to everyone.

I purchased this fearing my HP 17" laptop wouldn't fit, but the bag is surprisingly accommodating given how compact it looks and feels. Belkin did a great job maximizing storage space (there are tons of pockets, zippered compartments, and ample room for [note]books) while keeping the overall size slim and fashionable.

My only complaint is that I wish they would show more of the complementary color in the design; on my chocolate/tourmaline bag, for instance, the tourmaline is on the underside of the shoulder strap, essentially hiding it. Apart from that, I can't think of anything I don't like about this product. It's sturdy, attractive, and a great value for the money.

It was hard finding a nice, reliable 17 inch bag...but Belkin came through again. I've never had any complaints about their products and this messenger bag is no exception. Roomy, good compartments and sturdy. A much recommended purchase.

I just received this bag and it is great. My laptop fits perfectly. I have been searching for good laptop bag for a 17" for some time and I am extremely statisfied with this bag. When carrying it the laptop doesn't seem as heavy as it use to be prior to purchasing bag. I love all of the pockets and storage that it has in it. I will enjoy using it. I also love the color...

Ordered this for my HP Dv7. The bag seems rugged and will probably outlast my laptop. I read that many could not get their 17" to fit in the area provided, but mine fits very well. My middle score is solely on the fact that the bag is just too thin. It will barely carry the laptop let alone the plugins and other items that you will probably want to travel with you such as an passport external drive, camera, and battery charger. Happy with the colors and quality, but dislike the versatility. If you are only going to transport your laptop and nothing else except a thin file, this is what you would want. All others will want to get another bag for transporting the neccessities.
