It does work but...
the cleaner works fine, leaving the top really clean.

protectant do not leave a shine coat like other protectants does. I followed instructions in strict order and leaved a nice coat of protectant without necessarily leaving a mess. I wait a while to check it's "magic" effect but two weeks later still waiting for some david cooperfield stuff. another thing, the protectant is a spray, so is very inefficient in saving it's content for a next use; almost used a can for a single application. if you buy it, please consider eye protecting googles. for it's price it's expensive and inefficient.

Raggtopp Review
I have a 2002 Jaguar XK8 with dark blue convertible top. It began to absorb the little rain we got this summer. ordered Raggtopp and followed their instructions. Word of caution: be sure to tape off and cover your car's paint because this stuff is difficult to remove on paint, especially dark colors like my car. I used plastic sheet material and some newspapers so I wouldn't have to worry about overspray.

I did about 3 to 4 coats and still had some leftover for further touchup. Several days later it rained and all of it beaded up on the Hartz cloth top like water on a duck's back. Very nice!

Pretty good
I have a light tan top on my Z3 and this product did help to get rid of some of the darker crease marks. I wouldn't say it is perfect, but better than anything else I've tried so far. The waterproofing spray should be used several times to get a good seal.

Soak it in
I wash the top with the cleaner, let dry, Mask windows with painters blue tape and newspapers, then I just spray to wet and even it out via a gloved hand. Have done this with 8 yo Camaro and 5 yo TT. The TT spent the entire winter outside a dealership. The roof still looks new.. I dont know how long the stuff lasts, whether 1 yr or more, i simply reapply yearly. I really dont know if I have to clean it. When its soaked in, dust and dirt get displaced by ragtopp and just needs to be brusshed off.
