I used to really love Bare Minerals..... until I found out about the ingredient Bismuth Oxychloride. At first my face LOVED this stuff. But after a few months of using it I noticed that when I wore it my face would be itchier then usual. I also started breaking out a LOT more then usual. It wasn't until I did some investigative work that I found out about that Bismuth ingredient and how heavy it is on your face. The whole reason you have to BUFF the makeup on is because the Bismuth Oxychloride is so heavy that it needs to be PUSHED into your skin. I noticed that my makeup felt and eventually looked like it slid off my face BECAUSE of how heavy it really is (you wouldn't think it was a heavy makeup being that it's mineral powder!)

I stopped using this stuff and IMMEDIATELY saw a difference in my face. It went from being ruddy looking to clean and clear and glowing. I switched my makeup to Alima Mineral makeup and WHAT a difference! For one thing you don't have to BUFF the stuff onto your face, and I feel you get SO much more powder for the price (Which is about the same as Bare Minerals!) The whole reason it feels like you get so much more is because you use a lot LESS! I LOVE Alima Mineral Makeup!

I love makeup and typically if I find something I like I stick with it; in the past that has mainly been Lancome. Recently I decided that I wanted to try something new so I ordered a bunch of different brands of makeup hoping that one of them would make my complexion look fresh and/or glowing. I ordered a face compact from Laura Mercier, lipstick and concealer from Bobbi Brown, and the complexion enhancer from Bare Minerals. I have never used Bare Minerals before so at first I was a little disappointed in the size of the containers, but I quickly realized after using it that you use very little at a time and that it goes a long way. I LOVE the way my face feels and looks. My skin looks fresh, sunkissed, and it glows! I didn't completely realize what I was looking for until I tried this product. I would recommend it to anyone! The only thing I didn't like was the DVD because the lighting in it was horrible and it does not do the makeup justice; after watching it I actually thought I had wasted my money because I couldn't see much of a difference in the video; so if you get the video don't even bother watching it...just read the instruction maual and look at the pictures. I have to add just an end note; if you have blemishes I would still use a concealer or powder of some sort because it doesn't conceal those. I don't really mind that though because my complexion looks so great otherwise. You have to try it!

I have been a Sephora Bare Escentuals customer for a couple of years now. I'm 50 and I will never go back to liquid make-ups! These products are subtle, but amazingly effective and I look naturally beautiful without looking like I've got on stage make-up. I have a teenage daughter and she looks so perfect in these products, it's as if her complextion is just flawless, and she knows she's wearing make-up, which makes her "feel" beautiful. One other thing about this particular kit, the brush with the white tip bristles is my very favorite brush in the entire collection!! It is so soft and you barely feel it touching your face. Get this set, get hooked on this incredicle line of products, and if you're already a customer, get this set just to add this wonderful brush to your beautifying experience, it's worth it! I was always a grocery store make-up person and I never thought in a million years I'd buy something like this for myself, but I'm so glad I did!

I am a happy user of Bare Essentials. The value for this item was excellent. I am always looking for sales and this one was terrific.

Buying Make -up an not haven a good set of expensive brushes can really waist your make up an not let it look its best but having them not only does it make your make -up look better but it also makes your make-up last longer since Us women know an some men too lol that make-up isnt getting any cheaper so when you can get a sale like this that comes with top of the line brushes included you cant go wrong i bougth this Kit for Three reason one: The brushes. I actually have quite a few brushes from bare minerals an they dont run cheap so when i saw this kit that actually had two of the brushes i was looking into getting i had to buy it. second: r anything that can enhance your beauty without a dracstic change is a plus because we all want to feel beautiful from within. an Three: there product *well rested* on top of some light weight concealer makes you look like you got those 8 hours of sleep that we cant always achieve at night if your just getting into make up like me an you want something that looks natural an that is easy as 1-2-3 i would say what are you waiting for plus come on look in there catalog or there website an see what these brushes run all but themselves...lol i dare you
