Bissell 1867-7 Steam Mop Hard-Floor Cleaner, Green Tea

I received the steam mop on Wednesday and tried it for the first time today. I have to say I am extremely pleased with it and only wished I had discovered it sooner. It really makes mopping much easier than using a regular mop and bucket. Not having to use chemical cleaning solution is another big plus. Thanks Bissell for making this great product. It's a joy to use.

I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to clean tile or hard wood floors.

I just tried the steam mop for the first time and was pleasantly surprised...it did a great job on my textured wood floor. It was very easy to set up and very easy to use, although it was a little bit harder to push across the texture of my floor. I have also read other reviews where people were unhappy because it removed or damaged the finish on their floors...I can see where that might be a problem on some of the more delicate surfaces; the steam removed the shine enhancer that I had previously treated the floor with. That's great when you think of all the other stuff it lifted, but not so great if I have to re-treat the floor everytime I use the steam mop. Overall,though,I was pretty happy with it...my floor really takes a beating with two big dogs, two cats, two lumberjacks and one diesel mechanic tromping over it every day.

I've been using my Steam mop for over a year and loving it. My daughter borrows mine so much that I just bought one for her. We have vinyl floors and wood floors, it works great on both. It gets the dirt and stains out of the textured vinyl better than getting on my hands and knees with a brush! My floors look and feel cleaner than they ever have and it's so much easier than a standard mop or a brush - ugh.

I'm very pleased with this product. It's lightweight, the head swivels to clean the floors at the walls and baseboards, and although the tank seems small, it really holds a sufficient amount of water to cover large areas.

This is the second floor steamer I purchased. The Euro-Pro shark didn't work coming out of the box. I returned it after a firm dicussion with Customer Service indicating refund not exchange. Undaunted, I looked and the Bissell name was familiar to me. So I researched a little, (should have done that earlier) I decided to purchase. I am very pleased. It works very well, even gets the area around and behind the toilet. My cat doesn't like to be around when it is operating, but likes the nice warm, CLEAN floor it leaves behind. I like the no chemical method of cleaning. Saving money and saving the environment, what's not to love. I have just purchased a hand steam cleaner for the rest of my cleaning needs.
