I wish there were more stars for this book.
This book is absolutely amazing. It captivates you and takes you to a world where fantasy meets reality. The characters are complex. The passion between Bella and Edward is so absorbing that you can't put it down! It is definitely my favorite book (although New Moon is also my favorite). This book is for anyone who loves a good, juicy romance with a twist.

Twilight - The Adolescent Book
After reading an article about these books being the next "Harry Potter" series and about the first movie coming out in December of this year, I was curious. I am a grandmother who absolutely loves the Harry Potter series. I always have a book in the reading stage, so I went ahead and ordered Twilight. I am now on the third book of the series, however, they don't compare or even come close to the writing ability of JKRowling. Possibly the movie will be good. It will depend on the screen writers and how it is presented. I am more than certain this book gained its popularity from the teenage crowd and that's a good thing. I am always glad to see children of any age taking the time to read a book. I have to say I am enjoying the books although the first one bored me to tears until the last half. It's fun reading, definitely not great but good entertainment and it does contain an interesting story. It's a love story but not typical at all, includes vampires and other sundry creatures (I don't want to give too much away). And it involves relationships in a different setting and a different way. It's worth reading if you enjoy reading at all, but I won't hurry to the movie. I would have enjoyed a much closer look at Edward's family than what was given.

why is this book that popular???
This book has tags like vampire romance, dark fantasy. Yes, the hero is a vampire. And the book is very thick, about 400 pages or more. I read all of it. Just because I wanted a little light, something fascinating. The subject is fantasy, pure imagination but the plot.. just less than normal. That's why I can't understand why this book is that popular.
Teenage vampire romance. Thats it. Sorry but after Anne Rice, that book, that story telling can only aim 13-16 year-old readers..

Great Entertainment.
Its a fabulous book about love and coming of age with a twist. No, its not classic literature, but its entertaining and Ive enjoyed it twice.

EXCELLENT
The Twilight saga are excellent books, of course they have their flaws, but I have recommended them to several friends, my mom and my sister to the same conclusion, they are ALL impressed with this lovely, intriguing story. Enough said.
