Chessex Dice: Pound of Dice (Pound-O-Dice) Approximately 100 Die

First off, Games From Dan got these dice to me in no time. The USPS took longer to get it here than it took the store to get it out the door. Great service!

Secondly, there's several listings of Pound-O-Dice from this vendor, all similar in price, but check around for the best deal this store will give you.

Finally, the dice themselves: They are awesome! I was a little apprehensive, thinking maybe I'd get a bag full of six sided pip dice, or a ton of fugly dice (you know, like granite speckled pink on green with orange numbers). Fortunately, almost all the dice were neat designs, attractive colors, and the "factory second" flaws they might have had were undetectable on all dice except for like three. I got a total of 106 Dice: 15*d20, 12*d12, 39*d10, only 5*d8, 19*d6, and 6*d4. There were also 10*d6 dice with pips.

We could have used many fewer d10's and four or five more d4 or d8, and this is why I give 4 stars (really 4.5) instead of 5. I know, it's random- the vendor cannot control the content. There were plenty of twenties and sixes to make up for it!

There was also a complete 7-die set included with the bag, and when we sorted through the other 99 dice, we found almost two more sets of swirly blue mother of pearl looking dice. These would have cost 8 or 9 bucks. Only problem with those sets was-- well, they didn't have d8's. Still, not bad!

Great product, we'll definitely enjoy these dice for a long time.

The dice are nicely varied with a few really cool designs but my lot had a surplus of d10s (50+) and a dearth of d12s(6) d8s(5) and d4s(4). So when ordering just be aware that you might not get a very even distrubtion or many complete sets. Overall I am satisfied with the purchase though.

The purchase was performed without problems. The delivery was fast, and the article was exactly as expected. 100 Dice = 100% satisfaction.

This product is AWESOME. I'd spend easily 3x as much buying this much dicage at my local gaming store. Also, as a female gamer, it's nice to be able to buy them online and not get the 'alien stare' when I shop for dice. There was only 1 unusable die in the bag (a malformed d6), but it is a great marker for my character, so it's no loss for me. I definitely recommend this product to ANYONE looking to increase their dice collection, or get their first big haul. I will DEFINITELY be buying this again when I want to get more dice.

Chessex Pound-of-Dice really put a smile on my face. Each bag contains about 100 dice (the actually number may vary since the number is determined by weight) in all shapes and sizes. Included are D4s, D6s, D8s, D10s, D12s, and D20s. Most of the dice I received in the bag I got were speckled or mottled, but I imagine that may change depending on what Chessex has an excess of. I'd really recommend this to DMs who are just starting out. This will give you a really good starting collection of dice. I'd also recommend this for parents of elementary school children or school teachers. The dice can serve as colorful teaching tools for elementary school math and can even be used for teaching young children about the concept of probability.
