Love this! My dog thanks you!
I have been using this on my dog's nails and am thrilled! My dog actually lets me use it on her and lays still on her back for her "pedicure". She hated her old clippers and it was a fight to clip her nails.

The dremel is fun to use so I have to stop myself from trimming her nails everyday (lol). I've been taking just a little off at a time but they are the shortest they have ever been because with the old nail clippers, I was always afraid of hitting the quick and didn't take too much off. Now I feel much for comfortable and because she doesn't hate it, I do it more often.

I highly recommend as a solution for trimming dogs nails. I would suggest doing a little research on how to use the dremel on dogs nails and how to slowly introduce the dog to the dremel before starting.

Lasts a year at best
This is the second Dremel I have purchased in the last 5 years. While I really like the tool to file down my dog's nails, they only last a year or two and then stop holding the attachments firmly. I'm sending my newest one in for repair after only one year of once a month use. Very disappointing.

Great Product
Two of my big dogs don't mind their nails filed with this tool so it's worth the money I save plus they get their nails done more often....

Great for trimming dog nails
I love love love this product! I have a husky who has naturally short nails, so this product is great for keeping them dull. Her nails always seem to get very sharp, and this solved our problem with her. And she loves it! It is totally quick and painless. The only reason I gave it four stars is because if you have a dog with longer nails, like my German Shepherd, you have to still cut the nails, as they grow too quickly, and you can't maintain them with the Dremel only. Keeping this in mind will help you make the proper purchase.

You will love this dremel.
I have been thinking about getting a dremel for the longest time to do my dog's nails but until I really started looking, thought it was cost prohibitive. This was a great find and works great. I thought the dogs would have a problem with the sound but it's not loud at all. I thought they would have a problem with me using it on their nails and they do a little pulling away but hold still when they know I'm not going to let up.

I have always used the guillotine and scissor type of clipper and I always worried I would nick the quick. My dogs are great with those too but now I don't have to hurt them. Consequently their nails were always a little longer than they should have been. I finally have their nails to the length they should be at and I very happy about that.

The only thing you have to be aware of is that these get hot if you leave them on too long and it burns. Just tap, tap tap and move on. Then come back and do them again after you've done one foot. I have greyhounds with black nails and these work perfectly on them.
