Dremel 750-02 Minimite 13,000 RPM 2 Speed 4.8-Volt Cordless Rotary Tool

This item is good for animals nails.Although when I first got it i couldn't get the collet nut off but I eventually did get it off.

My dog started off life living on the street in Taiwan so she is pretty much scared of everything, but the very first time we used this she just sat there and let me do her mani-pedi. When we used to use the clippers she would shake and squirm the whole time. This thing is great. It is very quiet. I haven't even run into the heat problems some people have reviewed. I can do all four paws in around 5 minutes and this thing was worth every penny I paid for it. My dog also has very dark nails so this is much safer than using clippers. I can tell if I'm getting close to the quick since she gets a little more nervous so then I just back off. You can take off a very small amount at a time.

The battery charger is also great. I just keep it plugged into the wall and I can easily pull out the battery and put it into the Dremel when I need it. I've never lost power yet so don't know how long it lasts. I guess it lasts long enough. Highly recommended.

I love the dremel! I use it to dremel the black nails of my two small dogs. My youngest one has never let anyone get near her nails so I had to work with her more with the dremel. When I was done, her nails were so short and smooth. She had really long nails that she would trip all the time. My oldest dog doesn't mind the dremel at all and just falls asleep while I dremel away. I can never be afraid of getting the quick and with the dremel is way easy to tell when you are getting near and should stop. No blood, shorter nails, and smooth. [...]

I belong to a wood carving group and electrical power outlets are limited in the assigned room. So, the Dremel 750-02 Minimite Rotary Tool is ideal for its portability.It is easy to use for sanding,cutting and other wood carving techniques.
I would highly recommend purchasing an additional 4.8 volt rechargable battery for back-up purposes when working for extended periods of time on a project.

Bought this tool to trim puppy nails as nail clippers were difficult on other dogs I've had. This tool is great! Fast, neat job (outside is best as nail clippings are powdered). Tool allows me to grip nail and hold dog's pad and paw in my hand and trim with the other. Used twice, puppy doesn't seem to mind too much either, should get used to it in no time.
