Not so good
Not what I was expecting, my dogs are scared to death of it because it vibrates to much. I held it on the toenail and didn't see any effect. It tells you not to hold it for more than 3 seconds because the toenail will get hot. Scary Item!!! Monday, October 6th, 2008

No thanks
High speed didn't work. Not worth the money. Doesn't go fast enough to cut any thickness of nails. Friday, October 3rd, 2008

Nail trimmer
This works pretty good. My dog was a bit nervous at first but soon realized it wasn't trying to eat her feet. it was a bit messy and you get covered with nail "powder" from grinding the nail. I have a large american bulldog with black nails so I would say it may work better on a dog with finer nails to get through. Although, I think she would rather have me use this than a conventional trimmer which she HATES. It takes a bit more time but with practice, you can really customize the trim. Added bonus is no sharp edges left like a regular trimmer. Friday, October 3rd, 2008

Don't buy!
We have a medium size dog, and this tool didn't even get through 1 nail before the batteries ran down. I used rechargeable batteries as suggested by other owners, but that didn't help. We ended up cutting her nails with our old clippers. Don't waste your money! Friday, October 3rd, 2008

Don't waste your money
This Dremel does not have enough power to trim either of my 45 or 85 pound dogs' nails. It also will suck the battery life and overheat. I can only trim 2 paws and then will have to wait to cool the motor and change the batteries. Very disappointing. Tuesday, September 30th, 2008
