Painful!
Complete waste of money as the thong made space between toes so sore as to make the not-cheap sandals unwearable! My first pair of flipflops! Back to my beloved "Birks"!

FIVE STARTS FOR COMFORT ONLY
The Fit Flop says they tone your legs and rear as you walk. If that were the case, I would have the nices legs and the most amazing toned rear. I will say thought, that they are the most comfortable flip flops. Like other flip flops after long wear your back starts to hurt; you won't find that when you wear the fit flops. I would recommend them for comfort, but if you think they will actually help tone you up and that is the only reason you are purchasing these.... don't.

Fit Flops really exercise the feet
I'm impressed with the way that the FitFlops really do exercise my feet and legs. I did have some difficulty with the leather circle decoration on the top of the shoe. It rubbed a raw place on my foot. That's my only complaint. Perhaps that design could be reconsidered.

Decent flip flops, but not much else
I wear flip flops and sandals all the time in the summer (or am barefoot), so I was very excited to learn about the flip flops. They seemed as though they would be comfortable and give me a work out. So far, I've found them to be neither.

I wear a size 7 or 7 1/2 typically in shoes, so I got the size 7 in fit flops. While the length is fine, the strap (or "thong") of the flip flop is too loose. I have to grip with my toes to keep the flip flop on my foot--otherwise it flies off. I don't think my feet are unusually thin; I just think the design is poor in that regard. I walk for several miles every day and also have not felt any sort of work out from the shoes. Perhaps my gripping the flip flop with my toes, in order to keep it on my feet, is some sort of workout, but that tends more toward making my toes cramp up than anything else. I doubt that was their intention!

I will say that despite their being too loose and not giving me a workout, as they claim, they are comfortable for the most part. They are soft and springy, sort of, so they offer added support to your feet (and consequently your whole body). But other than that, I don't see the big hype about them. I was really excited to get them, and now am disappointed. I'm going to keep wearing them, giving them more of a try, but it is really most annoying that they keep sliding off.
