Gold Toe Men's Cotton Crew Athletic Sock, Black 10-13, 6-Pack

Reviewing socks seems a rather mundane matter, but since reading reviews helped me pick these out, here goes. It's pretty simple, these are some very comfy socks. The fit is good and the material feels good on my feet. I've only had them a short while so I cannot speak of their longevity, but I can say at this point I am a satisfied customer

These socks are suprizingly durable and strong. Also, unlike many other socks I've owned in the past, these stay up on my calf where they belong. Highly recommended if you need a good work sock.

I found these socks to be just as described and pictured. My order qualified for free shipping direct from Amazon. The shipment arrived one day before the expected time frame. Wearing size 12 shoe, I find that most socks listed as size 8-13 are too small. These fit well with some extra "give". They are priced fairly and are of very good quality.

These rated high with me for only 2 weeks. I wear these 99% of the time for work (so casual walking only) with either my NB sneakers or no-lace Timberland slip ups. The problems I have are:

1. Quickly lost elasticity. Now they are a bit too loose.
2. With minimal foot activity, socks bunch up in my shoes.
3. Shedding yarn like crazy! All from the inside, which end up on my feet, and then on the floor or carpet. I can't help but doubt the quality of these socks. Never seen that muck pilling from socks in my life!

Gold Toe responded to my comment submitted on their web site and pointed them to this review I wrote. They asked me to return the socks and they would replace them as defective merchandise.

I received the new socks in the mail and decided to give them to my dad as I have already bought other socks.

I'm surprised and happy to learn Gold Toe gives prompt attention to customer satisfaction. I applaud and appreciate their sincerity and speedy actions.

Given that I can furnish no new data regarding their socks. The 1 star rating remains.

I bought a 6 pack of both the white and black, which qualified me for super saver shipping. This kind of deal was to good to pass up. Normally I'd buy these in a local store but the free shipping afforded me the opportunity to shop from home at a savings of a couple bucks plus gas and my time.

The product arrived on time and in its original packing.
