The socks were a great value. They stay up on the legs better than any other crew socks I have owned. And the price was terrific.

This product lives up to its claims. These athletic crew socks can be worn for everyday use as well as for sports. Made of cotton, some nylon, & a tiny bit of spandex. They fit most sizes between 7-12, & larger 12-16 in black or white; the toe is made from gold colored fibers. Dry these at low temperatures just as a safety for the more delicate fibers. They will keep your feet warm in winter & since they breath your feet won't stay wet in summer temperatures. A real bargain for the price.

How does one go about reviewing socks? Well, I'm no industry insider, and don't know the lexicon around sock fit and hold, sweat absorption ratio and all that.

What does qualify me for this review is that i love socks as much or more than anyone. i never take them off during the day, and even wear them when i sleep. Being a tall rascal, it's impossible to find good fitting socks (i'm a size 14), even in a big city like Chicago. However, these socks fit perfectly, hold up well (so far), and as long as no one gets too close i can pass them off for dress socks at work. The toe isn't really made out of gold, but rather is some sort of Fool's Gold made of cotton, which is just as well, as I'd rather not have to worry about fending off would-be robbers all day. These sox are good most of the year, until it gets close to freezing outside, at which time i recommend staying indoors.

I am 52 years old and have have had flat feet for most of those years. It takes a special shoe and socks to make my feet "happy". Well I found the shoes about a year ago and finally found the socks to go with them about a week ago. These Gold Toe socks are the most comfortable socks that I have ever worn and I mean that in the most sincere way. I had never heard of them until I saw them (by chance) on Amazon.com. I took a chance and bought a half-dozen. I was not disappointed. I am so pleased with them that I told my wife that I'm going to buy enough to last the rest of my life. Buy em - you will not be disappointed!!!! I just wish I had found them earlier. Oh - by the way I have a job that I walk at least 2.2 miles a day 5 days a week. So believe the the durability also.

After receiving and wearing my first order of these socks for a while, I went back online and just ordered some more. They feel like they are of a very high quality, are very thick, and extremely comfortable.

One note, if you are trying to determine size. I normally wear a size 12-13 shoe so I thought that maybe the King size would fit too large (listed as a 13-15), but they fit just right. I think they would fit a size 11 right too, but I'm not sure how a 15 would get in cause they don't stretch that much and fit me perfectly.

At about two bucks a pair right now, I doubt you'll find better socks for less. I haven't.
