CLIF Kid ZBaR, Variety Pack of Peanut Butter, Chocolate Brownie, and Chocolate Chip, 1.27-Ounce Bars (Pack of 48)

I've been buying the Clif Kid Zbars for a while now, and I never tire of them. They make a great breakfast on the go, a mid-morning snack, and taste great with that afternoon cup of coffee. My kids love them, and the variety pack ensures that you won't get tired of the same flavor. (My favorite is the chocolate brownie, and my son likes peanut butter best. It all works out.) They are relatively low in calories and have nutritional value. While on vacation, I kept these in my purse for snacks on the go. The Zbars kept us going!

A good-for-you snack that the kids actually like to eat. I'll sneak one when I can just because they are tasty.

As a naturopath, I must live what I preach. "Eat organic whenever possible" is one of those lessons. As a distance runner, I also know that it is important to have nutrition on the go. For me, gus and gels full of chemicals just weren't going to cut it. I carry as many of the KidZBars as I can, and keep a couple in reserve when I get back from running. I can feel good knowing that I'm getting organic nutrition ... and they taste darn good, too!

I'm just confused as to why they labeled them "kids". These are great snacks for anyone, anytime. I don't have any kids myself, but I do have friends kids to hang around sometimes ... and some of them won't touch anything that says "organic", no matter how yummy it looks or tastes. Of course, if they see me eating them, that's the kiss of death, as I won't eat anything that is inherently "bad" for me.

It's great they have this in a variety pack ... now if there were just a little more variety! It would also be wonderful if CLIF would come up with a salty snack bar as well.... to satisfy that salt craving one gets while running or working out.

These bars are great for kids. My son used to come home from school "starving" and need to eat almost a full meal before he felt better. Yes, I asked him if he ate (may have been school lunch or a home packed lunch) and he was always hungry afterschool.

Enter Clif Kid bars!

I put one in his backpack when he had a snack attack or he ate if as he was waiting to be picked up. He no longer needs a "meal" afterschool and eats his dinner at the appropriate time of day. He loves all three flavors, but the brownie is his most preferred.
