so far so good
I have been using this mop for about a month. So far it has held up well and very successfully picks up dust, pet hair (lots of dog and cat hair) and is still going strong. The microfiber cloth is also durable and I have had no problems. Okay, the truth comes out--well, I use it sparingly, but my housekeeper uses it every day, several times a day and loves it. She is very short, and I am not too tall myself so the size of the handle fits us both. It's great for quick pickups of spills in the kitchen, after my giant dog comes up from his water dish. No five stars because the jury is still out on how durable the handle system will be. It seemed when I put it together to be a bit on the flimsy side.

Strong Concept Weak Design
The microfiber mop head is amazing, but unfortunately, the handle is badly designed. Mine broke the second time I used it, just gliding across the floor. The handle does not stay on the pole as other reviewers note.

Absolutely useless
We have plenty other Method products in the house and love them. This "mop" was designed to look pretty in it's packaging, but it is completely unusable in reality.

One of the worst Items I have ever purchased
I love Method cleaning products. I was excited to purchase this mop because of the features listed. Ergonomic, washable pads, etc. I use the swiffer with my own solution and hate wasting money on disposable pads.

I got this mop and it sucks. The pad just sticks to the floor when wet. I then have to push really hard to get it to slide. Once I push this hard, the head flops over from the pressure. I have tried it on hardwood. tile and vinyl flooring and I have the same problem. I have used their solution and my own of water and vinegar- same problem with each. I am throwing it in the trash.

Love the cleaning solutions, hate the mop itself
I too have owned two omops at this point. The first, I was delighted to use for a couple of months before the oval handle snapped off. I e-mailed the company, and was also sent coupons. I was told they had fixed the problem with the mop handle, and purchased a second kit. (It seems impossible to simply replace a mop on its own without buying a whole new kit).

My second mop broke in an even shorter time. The oval handle, once again snapping off with normal use. I e-mailed the company again, and was thanked for my feedback. I'm not complaining that they didn't send more coupons, I wasn't about to buy the mop again until I knew it would hold up.

An additional complaint: the mop is too short, but I am tall at 5'10". It would be nice if it were possible to add additional length as an option.

If the mop had not broken, I'd still be using it, even though they are too short for me. I like the easy on, easy off washable microfiber pads and I love what the all floor solution (yellow) does for my tile. I really like the wood floor solution for my bamboo floors, it leaves a beautiful shine that lasts.

I am now using the cleaning solutions with a Real Simple brand mop from Target that is taller, and has not broken, but has issues with the floor pad area.

Please fix this design flaw, Method and I'll be glad to give it another try.
