The best natural dishliquid on the market
This soap is natural and tough on grease. I've been using it for 5 years and I am very satisfied with the results. Tuesday, September 16th, 2008

More poor packaging...
This is a great product, but every shipment I receive (3 recently) has had one bottle open, and many dented bottles. The soap leaks through two packing boxes. The dents wouldn't bother me, except that I use them for "green" cleaning gift baskets for clients. Unfortunately, I may have to find another source! Thursday, August 28th, 2008

Works well
It seems to work as well as anything else while still being environmentally sound, but it is a bit more expensive. Friday, August 1st, 2008

Effective, biodegradable cleanser
Like others, I had a problem with the flimsiness of the packaging. I didn't order it online, but purchased it from Target. Within an hour, I discovered a major leakage. Luckily, I was able to exchange it for another bottle immediately.
When I first tried this product, I was doubtful that it would be as effective as Palmolive; it's definitely runny. However, I found that I could use the same amount of Seventh Generation and get nearly identical results. The smell is heavenly as well; it doesn't reek of detergent.
One qualm I still have about Seventh Generation is its ingredients. I do believe that it is biodegradable, but I wonder if it is safer than other commercial detergents. Sodium laureth sulfate is one of the first ingredients listed, and it is an ingredient we are told to avoid in cosmetics. I don't want to put it on my face, but I don't want to ingest it either. If anyone could offer input on this, I'd love to hear it. Is Seventh Generation any safer for humans than other soaps?

Surprisingly Good
Seventh Generation Dish Soap / B000E1G02W
I was a little worried about switching over to this dish soap, but I took the plunge and I'm really glad that I did. I feel that the dishes get as clean as they did before, and my hands don't feel raw and painful after washing. I have really bad skin allergies, which is probably why chemical cleaners disagree with me so much, and I'm very happy with this natural cleaner.
I originally purchased a single bottle from Drugstore.com, but Amazon turns out to be a slightly lower price (adjusted for scale, of course), so I'll probably order the larger Amazon pack whenever I run out next time.
