The Pepper Plant Original California Style Hot Pepper Sauce

We have been using this stuff for years even though we have to buy it online. We buy it by the 12 pack and like the other reviewers, it is a staple here - almost it's own food group. For the best nachos - lay out a bunch of Mission Tortilla strips in a toaster (about an inch high), with a "healthy" amount of shreaded cheese on top - toast one cycle, then sprinkle the sauce over the top. The best.

This hot sauce has a complex flavor that goes with just about everything. I particularly like it with broccoli in cheese sauce! I've also had it on pork chops and buffalo chicken. It's zesty without being a wallop of peppery heat. Highly recommended!

My husband and I love this stuff! We tried it for the first time about 10 years ago at a small steakhouse in central California. We have kept it in our fridge ever since. We used to be able to buy it in the grocery stores in California, but since moving to Arizona we now purchase it online. We love it with grilled New York steaks.
