Health o Meter HDM690DQ-95 Weight Tacking Scale, Black / Silver Metallic with Backlit Display (Weighs up to 380lbs)

Love these scales. I've had them for about a month so far and so far so good! No problems and they work great!

Beware of this scale. Not only does it come with incomprehensible instructions, it is extremely difficult to work with. And the promised 2 AA batteries are no where to be found in the package. A total ripoff!!

Sturdy, large display, large area for standing, consistent readings. I saw scales for $60-$80 dollars that weren't as solid feeling as this!

I didn't realize it when I bought the scale that it keeps track of your weight,but it has been great for me.

The Health O Meter bathroom scale is junk. To get it to work you have to step on it first, get off quickly, and then wait. Sometimes it will come up and read zero, and sometimes it will do nothing, and sometimes it gives an error message, and you start over. By that time, on a normal scale, you would already be finished. Then you step on the scale, and it processes. Then it comes up with a weight, after processing. You couldn't weigh, say a parcel, by then picking it up and noting the difference in weight, because once it returns the weight after processing, that is what it displays. To get a weight with you holding something, you would have to start over. It could take a lot of time, by the time you're done, and that is if it doesn't go electronic "wacky" and need time to reset after you do a couple things. You never know when it is going to wack out and return nothing, or an error message. Also, it is not versatile. It appears you must carefully place both feet on the indicated positions, or it wacks out. Whoever designed this probably has destroyed the home consumer division of the Health O Meter corporation. After buying this Health O Meter, I can't imagine ever buying another. This is electronic trash. Also, it is very finicky about the surface it is on. Even if the surface is flat and hard, it may not like that surface. Move it around a little. It may eventually find a spot where it will work. This piece of junk can't stay in my house. It just can't stay. It is offensive. This scale obviously was designed by an idiot, and it makes you wonder about the entire corporation.
