Garbage! Waste of Money.
After about five uses, it started registering my household voltage as 175V and 24A on a 120V 10A refrigerator. The manufacturer said it was a calibration problem and that they would not fix the device or refund my money. They said to go after Amazon.com. What a piece of garbage with horrid support.

Exceedingly useful
What can I say? Buy one and use it. It yields valuable information, interspersed with the occasional "does that device *really* draw that much when it's turned off" surprise. The P4400 gives you the raw information. There is an upscale model that might save you some keystrokes on the calculator.

I have thoroughly enjoyed mine. And it has been quite genuinely useful in addition.

Delivery was prompt. No problems.

P4400 Kill A Watt
Simple, effective, and cheap. A real eye-opener. Really helpful in defining a cost-benefit analysis to determine whether replacing an appliance will be cost effective. I've loaned it to several people and they think it's great, too!

Handy tool to have
A great little tool that does what it's supposed to do. It lets you know how much power any appliance draws, so you which ones are better left off most of the time.

Review
Excellent product - I use this one on my back-up generator in the AC plug output (generator is located in our tool shed about 30 feet from house) - we have more than a few electrical power outages in YAAK, MT. It's great and quick to look at this instead of using my hand held tester (and flashlight in my mouth - this doesn't work to well with bi-focals) to measure voltage output from the generator. Also use one in the house to monitor the generator output. My appliances don't seem to work well under low voltage.
