Pinzon Hydro-Cotton Hand Towel, Chocolate

My bath towels were starting to get pretty old and I decided it was time to upgrade. I ordered some of these washcloths and was very happy with them and decided to order some matching towels too.

Well, after several washings and using these for a month or two I have to say I agree with the other reviewers who say these towels are just TOO soft and don't dry very well. I don't wash them with fabric softener so that's not the problem, but it feels like I'm trying to dry off with a piece of velvet. I like the size and color of the towels, they didn't shed like most new towels do, I didn't notice any particular smell after washing them the first time, but they just don't dry me off very well and I always feel damp afterwards. Since getting me dry is the main purpose of a towel I can't say I recommend these at all.

However, I really do love the washcloths and plan to get some more. When you think about it, the purpose of a washcloth is totally different from the purpose of a towel - a washcloth is meant to get wet and wash with rather than to dry off with. These washcloths are just as soft and durable as the towels, and they feel great on my skin and face.

So I strongly recommend the washcloths, but not the towels.

These washcloths were purchased one month ago and have held up nicely through numerous washing; they continue to stay lush, soft and absorbent through out the past month; The size is as stated; the color has not faded; Still so very soft and thick!

These bath sheets dry the body well and are soft. My wife says they are a little heavy, however, we have not had bath sheets prior to these so it may take a little getting used to. She does like the way they dry. Overall we are both pleased with these towels.

I picked up the chocolate bath sheets at a great price a few weeks ago. They are gorgeous!

Because of the thread these will shed for 3 or 4 washings but still maintain their color, depth of weave and wonderful touch. Being a two husband household we only use bath sheets for both full baths. House guests are blown away with the spa feel when they stay here.

The Turkish cotton is some of the finest and longest lasting grown. The weight and weave on these fine bath sheets will last for years to come. I'm ordering a couple more today.

You can't find finer quality anywhere. These are just an amazing value.

Nice looking towel. Thick and drys well. Not overly soft and it will NOT stop shedding. Parts of the towel, on my face and skin...makes a mess in the bathroom. This towel would be great except for I can't even put my contacts in after drying off, because I have parts of the towel all over my fingers and I have to use a cheap wash cloth to wash my hands clean. Not worth more than $20.00 and if you do buy...pain in the butt to keep your bathroom clean.
