Leatherman 830850 Skeletool CX Multitool
Very light tool. Locking blade is great. I have a Juice S2 also and it does not have a locking blade so this is a welcome feature. Cons: two seperate srewdriver bits and only room to carry one in the tool. I wish they would have put a phillips head on one side and a straight bit on the other. I mean the whole idea I guess was for the tool to be light and no fuss. And they make it with to different bits and only room to carry one....I don't get it? Sunday, September 21st, 2008

Almost perfect
This is the 4th Leatherman I've purchased, and arguably my favorite.
pros:
-perfect size
-pocket clip keeps it from feeling too bulky by keeping it in place at the TOP of my pocket
-the best screwdriver yet! How many times have you busted up your knuckles because the "old style" Leatherman screwdriver folds under pressure? That can't happen with this knife!
cons:
-no scissors... the most used feature on my Leatherman Juice S2!
-pocket clip can get caught on various things (true of all pocket clips, and evidence that I'm a little clumsy)
-(minor) there are 2 bits included, one phillips, one standard, both are double sided. I anticipate that I will end up accidentally loosing one of these bits. Had the manufacturer included 2 bits, both double sided, BUT with a phillips and a standard on each, they could have (for the same amount of metal) made loosing one bit trivial.

Good tool.
I have bought this tool just few days ago from swissknifeshop.com I have ordered engraving as well. Price was little bit higher, but does not mater. My father is collecting pocket knives, and I just like to have something, what can catch his eye. What I missing little bit is a can opener. I think designer can develop more functions for part, which I can use now just as bit holder.... That's why I am thinking to buy in future SOG B61 or Victorinox work champ. Perfect Minimalist EDC Multitool.
I love it. It's perfect for my office environment job. The pocket clip is perfectly shaped makes it hang discreetly inside. It contains the most used tools, needlenose and regular pliers, knife, phillips and flathead (2 sizes ea.) Oh yeah, the caribiner/bottle opener get their share of use too. I have to say the best thing about this tool is, the knife on this thing is THE BEST knife I have found on a multitool. It is comfortable to use, and can be opened one handed. Oh ya, if anyone is wondering....EDC = every day carry. Check out edcforums.com to learn more. Wednesday, September 10th, 2008

Not great but not bad either
I thought I'd share my thoughts after using mine for about 3 months now.
For me, the CX the perfect size, weight and mix of tools. I love the bottle opener and quick access to the blade. The assembly is very good, nothing has come loose or slackened up over the time I've had mine and it gets used pretty much every day.
The one thing I was never really happy with is the size of the blade. If it were 1/2" longer it would've been perfect. I'm not sure why Leatherman didn't make it longer since there is plenty of room to make it, oh, say, about 1/2" longer without changing the overall length!
Another thing that has started to bug me as time went on is the sheer complexity of the design with all the holes and complicated edges. It looks nice but the downside is that it is a serious pain to clean. Using the tool for anything "wet", like gutting fish or even cutting up a steak, isn't practical. Of particular irritation to me are the holes in the blade spine because they really fill up with crap quickly and it takes a toothpick to clean them out (a longer blade would've helped here too).
So, the bottom line for me would be that it's pretty much a 5 star tool for "dry" situations but doesn't really work well as a general purpose tool if you want to use it camping/fishing/BBQ/etc.
