Leatherman 934870 40 Bit Assortment with Nylon Sheath

This bit set is a great addition to my Leatherman Wave, it adds a ton of possiblies to the already great tool. If you use tools everyday with your job or if you're just a do-it yourselfer & have one of the Leatherman tools that will work with these bits, do yourself a favor & pick this set up. They're well made & will definitely be easier than lugging a big toolbox around with you.

I purchased this kit to go with my new Skeletool. The bits all work beautifully. They are well made and do what they are supposed to do. It will serve most peoples' needs very well.

The bulk of the kit is made up of hex bits, a total of 18 in various inch and metric sizes. If you don't already have a high quality set of Allen wrenches, this will come in handy. Bicycle riders will love this kit.

The problem I have with the kit is there are not enough smaller sized Torx bits. If you frequently disassemble electronics or computer components, you know how ubiqitous the Torx screw is. This kit simply does not have enough small Torx bits for this task. Computer repair technicians beware.

It's a nice kit, but it's not for everyone. I would love to see Leatherman release another kit aimed at the technician, with a lot more Torx bits and possibly Tri-Wing bits, which are increasingly found on many consumer electronic devices. Anything that would allow me to size down my toolkit would be a good thing.

I ordered it for my son and he was very happy with it. Said it was just what he wanted. Also got here in excellent time.

The product description says:

"What's in the box:
Leatherman bit kit with 21 double-sided bits, removable bit driver, nylon belt sheath."

but this product does not include the removable bit driver, so it is not compatible with leatherman tools such as Juice requiring the adapter (Leatherman Removable Bit Driver Kick Fuse Blast Vista Core Juice Knife. Since I didn't want to spend another $20. or buy a new Leatherman entirely, I ended up returning the product.

i bought a new leatherman tool and a set of screwdriver bits with case for my son in law as a birthday present. he was thrilled to death with it. they both came with the case so he could wear it on his belt and have his tools handy at all times. said it was one of the best gifts he had ever recieved because he could use it and not have to just look at it. it comes with a twenty year gaurantee. good price and good warranty. we are all happy
