Best hands free blue tooth solution for your car.
This product works flawlessly. The radio transmitter is really not needed, but as a hands free speaker it is very loud, crisp, and clear. It also lasts a long time per charge/use. Very good build quality also. Tuesday, November 18th, 2008

T505 Bluetooth Car Kit
It's very good product, and very easy to use!
There is some static from time to time, but for the most part it's good!

Overwhelming static
I installed the T505 in two different vehicles (2006 Honda Accord and 2007 GMC Yukon). The unit was fine for using as a hands-free accessory to my Motorola Q9m, but when I tried to transmit music from my Q9m to the FM stereo, the static was overwhelming no matter how many FM frequencies I tried (I tried new frequencies as instructed no less than 50 times). If "0 Stars" was an option in writing this review, I would have chosen it. Very disappointed in Motorola, because the Q9m has othwerwise been a great phone. Sunday, November 16th, 2008

Great Addon! much more than a simple gadget...
I bought the T505 based on other reviews and I must say this is a great piece of technology! Sound quality is amazing for both phone and music.
Bluetooth pairing is transparent and always recognizes my blackberry for handset and ad2p profiles. On receiving a call, the T505 will clearly announce the caller-id; a simple button press will then take the call. None of my contacts has ever complained about sound quality. I just love the ease of use.
Now, being able to play music wirelessly on your car stereo is a major addon to me! I've owned and tried 2 other audio-to-FM transmitters to plug my phone/mp3 players but none come close to the T505. First, the T505 will scan the entire FM range and pick a frequency automatically then announce it through its internal speaker for you to tune in. This is a major improvement over the cheezy 3 or 4 selectable frequencies you can pick from on those other cheapo transmitters. Then once tuned in, the sound is amazingly rich and the player controls are accessible and simple.
In short, I'd buy another one right away were I to lose/break mine!

Great product !
Only one gripe is having the on/off and fm on/off buttons on the back but it's easy to get use to..thus I did not ding any stars from it.
It connects instantly once paired and paring is a snap. The voice prompts are loud and clear from the T505..in fact if you use it as a standalone ie: without transmitting thru your FM radio, all the audio is loud and clear. I like the side locations of the volume up/down controls..very intuitive placement.
The battery lasts a good 5 hrs and the unit can also be used while plugged in and charging. Because of its light weight I was able to use velcro to attach it to my dash close to the lighter/accessory outlet so the cord is not an issue. The included visor clip works well too if you so choose you just don't want the charging wire in your field of view if it could even reach that far. The manual warns you of that..passively.
As for FM transmissions once you activate FM ( on back), the internal speaker turns off, a voice prompys informs you of what station to tune in to on your radio. Much easier and safer to do while driving than an LCD channel display. If that channel does not suit you just repeat the procedure tapping the FM button again. The sound is perfectly clear on the radio.
The T505 will turn off automatically if it senses no connection, like when you leave your car with your phone. However untill you either turn off your phone or whatever you have paired to it ( ipod, laptop etc.) or turn off the T505 it will answer your calls or play your audio up to 30ft away. Once the connection is lost, and it has a voice prompt for that too, your device's audio speaker takes control again.
My phone, an iPAQ 910c, has Voice Command for audio control of dialing, programs etc and it works flawlessly with the T505. So voice dialing is not compromised. When a call comes in I just press the call button on front and I am talking hands free, comfortably and safely.
I've asked my callers if they heard me alright and they've all said yes so I have stopped asking after a few days. I hear them as clear as ever.
I also use a program called BlueMusic on my phone which sends all my audio from my phone thru bluetooth so programs like Garmin Mobile XT GPS, Sling Moblie ( to watch TV )..everything audio goes to bluetooth and to my T505 flawlessly.
To sum it up my search for a bluetooth FM transmitter is over!!!
