Good HF, lacks obviousness
Bought the unit to provide my tech-challenged wife a better HF than what was built into her phone (Nokia 6555) while driving...used it for several hours on her drive from MO to TN, and heard her clearly w/o lots of wind & road noise.
Pro: Pairs easily, syncs quickly, stays paired, good audio quality from internal speaker, mic is sensitive, good noise reduction, FM link easy to use
Con: On/off and FM transmitter buttons are on back of unit, easy to press the wrong one without looking, and even then the logos are very similar. Can't use and charge at the same time...
Motorola:
1. Put a sticker on the unit with the quick-reference card stuff (she had to call me to find out what a blinking red light meant).
2. Make the FM button harder to activate by accident
3. Make the volume +/- buttons larger and more clearly labeled
4. Let me charge it and use it at the same time (I can run a power cable in the trim around the windshield...)
5. Provide a 1/8" stereo jack to plug into the Aux port on newer vehicles--skip the FM radio.
Bottom line: I'd buy another one, but spend more time explaining how it works to the tech-challenged....

Couldn't ask for more.
This is exactly what I was hoping for. Totally hands free and ear free as well. Battery life is very good, it almost complain about low battery after a month. Every one should be using this if they don't like to wear bluetooth. Thursday, October 30th, 2008

Big Disappointment
Had high hopes for this product after reading the reviews. Unfortunately, my experience hasn't been very good. First, the positive features. It is remarkably easy to install and couple with a bluetooth phone (mine is LG600G). It is small and attractively designed. All the features I tried worked. Which brings me to the negative side. Made several calls both inside and outside the car (driving, in the garage, in the living room). In every case but one, the person I called said I sounded as though I were under water. They could barely understand me. In the isolated exception, my voice came thru perfectly....go figure! Don't know what made the difference, as the perfect call was preceeded by a call to the same number in the same location with the "underwater" effect virtually destroying my voice! Maybe it's just my unit, but I have returned it and will probably go with an ear unit. Wednesday, October 29th, 2008

GREAT DEAL!
I just want to say this was worth it 100%
cheap and it took less then 5 min to install and get working
I bought it mostly for the FM transmitter, the phone call options are a plus (and work great btw!). If you live in a popular urban area frequency issue are zero and there is 0-1 score on a scale of 1-10 for fuzzyness or buzzy static sounds while playing my mp3's off my phone!
I recommend this Motorola T505 and a Nokia 5610 Music Xpress for anyone who doesn't have a good phone/mp3/bluetooth item yet. I bought the nokia for the music (4gb microflash card), and I dont know how I have been living without the T505. Add music to your life again, remember to load all the music for all your different moods, and enjoy driving again!
10 out of 10 from me on my review. I live in southern california so the FM transmitter might work different in another area. Lastly I like another poster find it friendly that it can be charged through USB as well.

Works well but:
Works very well with one exception. For me the voice recognition is a problem. A few times it hasn't even recognized the word "yes" when I try to confirm that this is who I'm trying to call. Maybe more practice. My son also has one and complains about the blinking blue light at night. Overall, I like it very much.
