I purchased the Kill A Watt meter after reading about it in several publications and on some energy use websites. Already, it has shown that we need to purchase a new freezer as our 30-year old model is using a lot of electricity! We are currently evaluating our refrigerator. This is a great tool for anyone wanting to evaluate appliance efficiency. I plan to loan it to friends after we are finished.

Works well. Buy a short extension cord and save yourself the pain of using the existing plug-in.

Item arrived on time and appears to be in fine shape. I, however, haven't yet had time to decipher the information.

This meter does exactly what it's advertised to do and has given me a lot of useful information about the juice use of my electrical devices and appliances which has helped me make adjustments in their use. Glad that I bought it - you can't beat the price for what you get.
