The shaver is light and seems to do a good job. I am using it as a back up shaver at the present time. I do not have any complaints.

So Done with my 5 Blade Razor!
I have the second toughest beard on the planet. Right behind Bigfoot. I let my beard go from Thursday until Monday morning. My shaver arrived Saturday. This would be the test to end all shaving tests. I was shocked to get such a close shave from an electric shaver. I just had never bought one as my beard is so tough to cut and I figured an electric shaver would never work on my beard. Even with my razor, it takes a couple swipes in some areas of my face and neck. I did need to run over the same areas a few times with the shaver to get it all, but it worked like I never beleive it could. My shave was very close to razer close. There was only mild skin irritation after shaving, but I get that regardless even with a razor. I am so done with my 5 blade razor and shaving cream mess. No need to ever go back. I'll give my razor and shaving cream to Bigfoot and keep my electric shaver.

Better than expected
I have very sensitive skin that makes it very difficult for me to use an electric shaver regularly. I cannot shave every day even if I use a good blade and take a nice shower. That being said, I use this electric shaver occasionally (like while I am on a trip and such). Although it is battery operated, I found the shaver powerful enough. It does irritate my skin a bit, but not more than I expected. And the shave is not as smooth as you would get using a good blade, but very close. It is far better than the other Philips I used long time ago. What I did not like is the charger base. I am sorry to say this Philips guys, but that thing is a joke.

Have not recieved the item yet
Please note that I live in Turkey and had provided you my in-law's address for shipping all of the items purchased. I have not yet received the items I ordered. I will be happy to give you an evaluation when I do get them ( in about 2 months).
I wish you could ship them directly to addresses outside of U.S. at reasonable prices.
p.s. Since I had to rate the item in order for this review to reach you, I rated it one star although when I get it, it will be 5 stars!I hope.

Closer and more comfortable then previous Norelcos
There are a lot of comprehensive reviews here already, so I won't write much. I just wanted to confirm that this razor does cut much better than other mid-range Norelcos that I've used in the past.

After shaving with this razor, it takes until about 3:00 for my beard to grow out to the level my previous Norelco cuts to in the morning. It's also very smooth and doesn't rough up my neck at all. It's great to be able to clean it under running water everyday and the new battery is a huge step up from the old NiCds.

I don't know if it will happen again, but I got this on Amazon recently when they had it for 60% off which was an amazing deal. Even at the original price though, it's probably worth the upgrade if you're using any of the mid-range razors.
