These bowls are very useful, safe and economical buys. They come in very handy sizes, are perfect for the microwave, oven, refrigerator and freezer, and are attractive enough for serving as well. The lids close very tightly, so they are especially good for transport and freezing. Its highly durable pyrex glass composition eliminates any worry about harmful plastic chemicals leaching into your food. To avoid leaching of chemicals from plastic containers, I use them now instead of my old Tupperware and have no worries when heating food in them. Highly recommended.

With all the health concerns about plastic bottles you have to wonder also about food storage containers. I'll go with glass. And the oven safe aspect of Pyrex, as well as microwave and dishwasher compatability is a real bonus. The tight fitting lids are good also.

I couldnt be happier. These are lightyears ahead of rubbermaid/tupperware plastic storage containers. Go from freezer to microwave without the plastic taste or worrying about damaging the plastic. Glass is the way to go baby!

I like the pyrex round sets I received pretty much except one of the lids doesn't fit.

This is one of the best purchases I've made recently. Actually I bought two. There are a good amount and variety of bowls.
