great picture! i also use it as a GIANT computer monitor. it is very nice to surf the net from the couch!

I did extensive research before I bought this TV. Went to Best Buy to view some different models, checked out Consumer Reports for ratings, and read many reviews online. I'm very happy with it. Amazon shipped it quickly...the shipping company called the day before to make sure someone would be home. (Always have the shipper open the package before leaving your home so you can look over your TV for any damages.) There are plenty of adjustable color features to fine tune the picture to your space...which is something all stores do to optimize the picture under the store lights. If you're looking for a 40" LCD this TV is a great choice.

Its nice. I wish I could use the PIP for more than just basic channels though. I expected to be able to watch two components at once.. but I am only able to watch "TV" through the PIP and since I have an HD cable box, I cannot watch anything but static. I can't rate it yet. I haven't gotten it. I ordered my Samsung TV 10/23, was contacted for delivery 10/24. We scheduled for 10/27 delivery. I called when they were late and they said delivery would be in 10-15 minutes. After 45 minutes, he was in my neighborhood and would be here shortly. 3rd call they can't get ahold of the driver. After 4th call, they said my TV was not on the truck. We rescheduled for 10/28 at 10 a.m. because I had to go to work. I called when they were late and was told I'm the last on the delivery schedule. It would be here between 12-3. I would be gone by then. Now we rescheduled for tomorrow morning by 8 a.m. I hope the TV is worth the wait because the delivery service is the worst I've ever encountered. They don't know what they're doing in that office. I notice the price has gone down too.

Fast shipping. Great Price. Great picture and features. Only disappointment is the sound from the speakers is poor. I needed to hook up a home theater system to get better sound. In doing so I lost the automatic sound level feature that keeps the volume of commercials level.
