Samsung LN46A650 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with RED Touch of Color

I'm pretty anal about doing my research. So I did plenty. This LCD had great reviews so we looked at it live and in person at Best Buy and Circuit City. It looked great but they couldn't come close to Amazon's price.
There is no longer an issue with the power cutting out. This was taken care of during the first half 2008 with a software upgrade and all TV's since are fine. No issues.
Picture quality is awesome and a great bang for the buck. I have a Sharp Aquos that is a few years old and is not even close. The picture in HD on the Sharp is decent but not even close to the Samsung 650.
Buy this model without hesitation. The 850 is about [...] more using LED technology but is not worth the [...] difference in price unless [...] is like [...] to you, then go for it.....
Buy the 650A and enjoy.

I recently purchased this from Amazon and am astounded by how amazing this tv is and the service Amazon provided. I've ordered many things from Amazon in the past without issue, but was still a little wary of ordering such a big ticket item online. I can say that I'm glad I did. Not only did I get by far the lowest price available anywhere, they provided free white glove delivery.

The quality of this tv is well beyond my expectations. Crystal clear hi def makes you feel like you're really there. The sound quality is wonderful as well. There have been some comments about the sound quality, but I find the sound is so good that I don't even use my external speakers when watching it.

As I said, the price is amazing. For $1500 with no tax and free white glove delivery, it cannot be beat. They unboxed the tv, set it up in my living room and even took my old tv away so I didn't have to bother getting rid of it myself (it was a 32" Sony Trinitron). That's what I call amazing service.

I checked prices of every major retailer over several weeks and did a comparison of all the tvs I was considering at my local retailers several times as well, and nothing came close to the quality of the Samsung 650 tv.

If you're considering this tv, I would look no further. Very very happy with my purchase from Amazon.

I researched my decision for over 6 months and bought this set when it dropped below $1500 on Amazon. It is FANTASTIC. HDTV looks great but Blu Ray movies are so realistic it feels like you are right there. The set was easy to set up and use and quickly integrated with my surround system. Once connected via HDMI cables it even knew to turn my Blu Ray player on and off automatically. I highly recommend this set to anyone who wants a top notch picture.

I bought my Samsung in August and have had any problems. I read some turn off and they need a software upgrade but I have not had that issue. The picture is very good even without HD channels. It seems to improve the picture I get terrible Comcast cable coming in.

I'll not go into alot of technical info on this unit since there is already plenty out there. This Summer I decided to take the plunge into high-def. After extensive research, viewing different tv's at the box stores, and consulting my high-tech guru friend, I decided on the Samsung LN46A650. When I found that Amazon sold it for hundreds less than the local box stores, I decided to give them a try. From beginning to end and everything in between, I am completely happy. For my purposes the tv is superb. The picture(which is almost my only concern) is gorgeous in HD. I would rate the std. picture as just above average, though that really shouldn't be relevant because if you're going to spend this kind of money on a HIGH-DEFINITON tv, you probably want to watch HD signals and sources. There were no problems through the delivery process, which was faster than expected. All in all, for the money this unit can't be beat.
