Samsung LN46A650 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with RED Touch of Color

Just recieved my Samsung 46a650 today, got it all setup and its working great. The white glove service was amazing, unpacked the TV and carried it upstairs, plugged it in and made sure everything was working. No issues with sound, display, no clouding, no haze, no flashlights, no dead pixels..

Now i'm just waiting to setup my HD Cable, watching in SD right now, doesn't look the best, but it's watchable.. Will call our provider later this week and get that setup.

Waiting on a shipment of HDMI cables, which were supposed to be delivered today, but nothing has shown up. So for the time being, i'll have to use old composite video for my ps3, but i was lucky enough to have my xbox 360 hooked up to provide HD Quality, games look amazing, had no issues of lag.

Once I recieve the HDMI cables, here i come blu-ray. Picked up about 20 blu-ray movies this past weekend for this particular day so that I could start experiencing high quality movies.

Did I mention this TV is HUGE! I was going to get a 40" but I didn't want to regret it later down the road, so i picked up the 46" and i'm glad I made that choice. At 7-8ft viewing distance, this TV is the perfect size for my Bedroom.

This television is more than I had expected. I have been shopping for a flat panel television for a while. I made repeated trips to retail stores to help me decide. At first I would look at picture quality without looking at the brand names. Everytime I was drawn to the Samsung LCD. When I decided on the exact model, I began shopping the internet for the best price and chose Amazon. I was a little reluctant getting the LN46A650 because of the "turning off" problems - and - I could have saved $100 at a couple of other sites, but I have been a long-time Amazon customer and have always been pleased with their service. Speaking of their service let me tell you about the delivery of my set. It was shipped by CEVA (Eagle). I was able to track the whole shipment process on their website and they called me with a 4-hour delivery window as promised. The driver could not have been more courteous, unpacked the set, hooked it up to make sure it worked OK and offered to haul off the boxes. "White-glove" delivery is EXACTLY what I received!

I've been watching the Samsung LN46A650 for a little over a week. HD programming is exceptional. I have satellite television, so the local network channels aren't in HD format yet; but, I can purchase an HD antenna if I want to view them in HD. I'm not going to bore you with a lot technical stuff, if you're into it, you can do your own research. I do know this television has a great picture, the best I've ever seen. Would I buy this TV again? YES I would!

Now for the icing on the cake. Seven days after it was delivered, I noticed the price had dropped $65 on Amazon, so I requested a refund through Amazon's Post-Order Price Guarantee. No questions asked! Within 24 hours, my refund had already been processed.

I am a very pleased customer....Again!

This is my first LCD TV. So did lot of research. Decided to buy this TV after reading reviews on cnet. I am glad I did. This TV is simply stunning with amazing pictures. Lot of connectivity options. Great great great product.

The picture is beautiful and sharp. During the Olympics broadcast, swimmers, track runners and the redeem team players just pop right out of the screen. Sometimes even the crowds are so crisply clear in the background, while the pack of runner in front are in focus & larger than life, that the picture as a whole gives off a 3 dimensional depth that is simply stunning. I have it hooked up to HD satelite feed and PS3 and everything looks wonderful, even the regular DVDs get upconverted and look terrific. The screen posed non of the glare I was concerned about. For me it was down to this Samsung vs. the W series Sony because of the price similarity, but after viewing them in the store, I thought the A650 is really competing with the XBRs and the price comparison all of a sudden is not just favoring but a land-slide for the Samsung. I'm very happy with this purchase and the buying experience Amazon.
