Great Deal, Great TV
Very happy with this TV, and the deal was great. HD picture is bright and detailed, SD picture is good also. Sound is good, 1080P & 120 hz along with other features like internet capability means this TV won't be obsolete for years. Best price I've seen around Orlando is around $2000 plus tax. Don't be afraid of shipping it, arrived in perfect shape at my door.

Awesome TV!!!
I still can't get over the picture quality of this TV and it's been a month since I got it. I am truly impressed!! I really don't have anything but good things to say about the TV.

I have another Samsung TV, a 56" DLP 1080p TV that is a few years old now. Though it may be a few years old, it has been holding it's own in terms of video quality for quite some time. It always looked much better than my friend's TV's. That time has now passed. When I watched Planet Earth in HD on the old Samsung, I was very impressed then. But now that I have the new TV, I decided to re-watch Planet Earth on the new TV. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! I was shocked at the improvement. The color, the vibrancy, the whites, the blacks, the DETAIL and sharpness, the fluid motion with no jaggies. It almost brought a tear to my eye, that's how good it looked. It's got it all I am happy to report. Samsung really got it right with this TV.

If you are on the fence about this TV like I was (before I bought it), I say buy it. You won't be sorry you did. It's a fantastic TV and I can do nothing but highly recommend it.

I owe this review to you
I spent months (July-Oct) reading reviews on amazon everyday waiting in anticipation for the next update/price movement. I pulled the trigger in October and so happy I did. What an amazing TV and I owe Amazon/Samsung a review! Only suckers buy TVs at Best Buy or Circuit City. In fact, I went to the local CC and even the sales guy told me he bought on Amazon! Even with his discount, he did better. Picture is just perfect and I love the very classy touch of color...so subtle and sometimes I wish the red showed more. No glare what so ever on the 6. I had a Philips LCD 720p previously and I cant even watch it now. Yes, the remote is annoying and it's wheel doesnt respond well but its not worth complaining about. The sound is poorly designed but who doesnt run a TV like this through a home theater system? Sound is still OK for regular TV watching but you need some type of speaker system to compliment this TV for movie watching. Ive grown to love the 120hz and even when it appears to project the "soap opera" effect on movies or TV. I watch Seinfeld everynight in HD and Cramer jumps into my living saying "Hey Buddy". I didnt get the white glove service..just unpacked the TV myself, plugged in my HDMI connection to the cable box and I had the TV running in 20 mins. It looks great out of the box and I used CNET.com for additional setting ideas.

I Couldn't Be Happier
I just got my 2nd one of these. The first one I got in the 'best' retail store. I later learned that retail stores sell them uncalibrated so I had to pay geek $400.00 to calibrate all the colors to be the best they can be. If you buy from a non-retail outlet, they're already calibrated.

As for the glossy screen complaints, I can't complain. Any reflection produced is not something that glares at me....I sort of see through it without noticing it.

I feel like I have the Cadillac of LCD TVs, so I bought a 2nd on from Amazon for another room. The colors of HD and non-HD programs are magnificent. Especially the sets of local news programs and game shows like Jeopardy that are broadcast in HD.

You cannot beat the quality for this price.

Highly Impressive.
Like most out there, I've done the research, compared the prices, and pulled the trigger, and I haven't been happier. I'm not a technophile so I won't be going into the numbers or technology involved here, so this is for the everyday regular people who just are looking for a great tv; YOU'VE FOUND IT, FOLKS!

This TV is quite honestly the most amazing piece of technology I could ever ask for; the picture is crisp, dynamic, and vibrant, the design is outstanding and practical, and the quality is beyond words. I also bought in addition to the TV, a blue ray player and the "Planet Earth" blue ray disc set; best decision I've made in years! You want to feel like your in the Serengeti with none of the bad smells, fear of death, and food-poisoning? Seriously, this is the single-most amazing viewing experience I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of.

Well, I think most everything else has been said by other reviewers so I'll leave you with one thought; buy this tv and you'll never want to view anything that isn't on it again ;). Cheers!
